Basecamp is an international chain of hotels and student residences that creates smart and exciting living spaces for dreamers, thinkers and doers. The residences at a total of 17 locations in Poland, Scandinavia and Germany offer modern rooms, common rooms, fitness rooms, cinemas, workspaces and more. The company strives to breathe new life into neighbourhoods and create a strong community experience for residents.
In order to attract new residents and create a lively community in the residence, those responsible were faced with the challenge of creating an integrated audio connection solution between two separate buildings and setting up a central streaming solution with a wide range of services. The focus was on optimising the use of the communal areas and designing them attractively to encourage residents to linger and interact.
For the media technology at Basecamp Göttingen, ACCENTA opted for networked sound reinforcement solutions from AUDAC and AV conferencing systems from ClearOne due to their excellent price-performance ratio, simple setup and operation as well as comprehensive planning support. A user-friendly dashboard solution with no licence fees has been implemented, which is compatible with various smart devices and enables easy operation throughout the building. Flexible solutions for divisible AV conference rooms with integrated ceiling microphones and remote maintenance options were also implemented to ensure efficient management and maintenance of the systems.
